What is a factory caliper big
brake kit?
Larger rotors allow better brake performance and allow you to fill
out larger wheels. These systems use larger brake rotors with a
replacement caliper brackets to relocate the factory NSX caliper
over the larger rotor.
What are the advantage of a
factory caliper big brake kit?
Cost effective way to achieve
the braking performance and look of a traditional big brake
system.
Easier wheel clearance than
wider opposing piston aftermarket calipers.
Existing brake pads can be
used and a wide variety of replacements are available.
Unlike big brake kits using
aftermarket calipers, the factory e-brake is retained reducing
cost, weight, and complexity.
What are the advantages of an
aftermarket caliper big brake kit:
Opposing piston caliper offers
increased braking force with larger sweep area.
Wider rotors are used for
increased cooling.
Aluminum calipers are lighter
than factory iron calipers.
