Utilizing
a modified single disc racing clutch and light weight flywheel, the CT
Engineering
clutch sets offer aggressive street (Powergrip 1) and aggressive competition (Powergrip
2) style single disc conversion kits for the NSX. Both kits are lighter in
weight than the factory clutch while offering improved and increased pedal
effort and higher durability.
Two options are available - Powergrip 1 and Powergrip 2. The only difference
between the two is the clutch disc used. Powergrip 1 is ideal for stock or
lightly modified cars up to 350 wheel horsepower. Powergrip 2 uses a more
aggressive disc compatible with modified cars up to 450 wheel horsepower.
CT Engineering Powergrip Clutches are
compatible with all NSX years and include both release and pilot
bearings required for installation. The clutches also include a factory
damper delete block which eliminates the factory clutch slave damper for
increased pedal travel for proper operation. 1997-2005 NSX owners must
purchase the required flywheel bolts sold below.
