Designed as an alternative option to the
factory clutch with increased capacity, the ScienceofSpeed NSX Sport
Clutch & Flywheel is ideally suited to both an all stock NSX as well as
an NSX with increased horsepower from bolt on modifications or
supercharger / turbochargers. |

The ScienceofSpeed Clutch offers a pedal
pressure that is similar to stock (only about 15% stiffer) and smooth
engagement. By designing the clamping force and geometry of the pressure
plate and clutch disc friction disc to work together, the ScienceofSpeed
Sport Clutch is rated for 400 lb/ft static at the crankshaft
(approximately 475+ wheel horsepower depending on setup). |

The ScienceofSpeed Billet Sport Clutch
features a hard anodized billet aluminum strapped clutch cover for
lightweight performance, noise reduction, and drivability. The
ScienceofSpeed Sport Clutch & Flywheel kit includes a lightweight
flywheel for improved engine response. The clutch and flywheel assembly
is approximately 14.5 lbs lighter than factory twin disc (91-96)and 24
lbs lighter than factory single disc (97-05 NSX) clutches!
The complete assembly is dynamically balanced to within 1 gram and the
clutch secures with offset pins insuring the clutch can only be
assembled one way. |

Clutch kit includes pilot & release
bearings and alignment tool. This clutch is compatible with all NSX
years, including 6-spd transmissions. Optional flywheel bolts are
required for 1997-2005 NSX. |
