performance automotive fastener components. ScienceofSpeed offers a
custom made main stud kit.
ARP's exclusive defect-free chromoly steel
alloy material is used which reduces stretch under load for high
horsepower and high RPM operation. Torque consistency is improved and
stretching is reduced improving head gasket seal & crankshaft seating.
Main stud kit replaces eight factory main bolts (the remaining fasteners
are retained) and includes a set of eight studs, washers, and 12-pt
flange nuts. ScienceofSpeed includes packet of ARP moly lube for installation with kit.
Please note with main stud kit main bores must be inspected, line honed
to spec, and bearing selection performed manually.
