Cometic Multi-Layer Steel Head Gaskets

Cometic multi-layer steel (MLS) head gaskets are comprised of three layers of stainless steel with a thermal protection coating of Viton on the external layers (heat resistant to 250 deg C). This is the same design used by Honda on the latest high performance engines. MLS gaskets provide the best heat resistance and even load distribution of any type of head gasket. This is an especially vast improvement over the 3.0L graphite composite gasket for durability and sealing.

These head gaskets are available in sizes for 90-95mm cylinder bore sizes for engines including the factory 3.0L, 3.2L, and custom bore sizes.

In addition to the standard factory .030" thickness, the middle layer can be varied in thickness from .027" - .120" to vary compression ratio.

Gaskets are sold as a pair for a complete engine. Thicknesses greater than .051" are an extra charge. Please inquire with ScienceofSpeed for details.
