HKS has released the new CAMP 2 - an
updated version of the popular display system that allows you to display
a number of gauges and sensors on an LCD display screen in your NSX. |
|
|
|
This NSX has an HKS F-CON engine
management system which allows display of parameters such as tach,
throttle %, & air fuel ratio (AFR). |
|
|
The HKS CAMP 2 is a video display unit
that projects data onto a LCD screen installed into the NSX. The HKS
CAMP 2 can display up to 6 parameters from a number of sources. The
sources can include optional sensors (fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil
temperature, water temperature, boost pressure, and EGT), OBD2
parameters (1995-2005 NSX), or if the NSX is equipped with an HKS F-CON
engine management system, any parameter from the F-CON.
This is the perfect solution if you don't want gauges crowding your
interior. All this data is easily available on one interactive display.
Please note that certain displayed
parameters are shown in the example displays are from a OBD2 NSX
(1995-2005) or one with F-CON installed. For a complete list of

ANALOG DISPLAY:
The analog gauge displays allow the user to select
three parameters to display as gauges (left shot) or one parameter as a
gauge and six parameters in digital (right shot). |

DIGITAL DISPLAY: The digital displays allow the user to select
three parameters to display in large text with a sweeping bar graph
(left shot) or 6 parameters to display digitally (right shot). |

|
HISTORY (PAST) DISPLAY: The screen shows data logged from a
vehicle with an OBD2 system (left shot).
GRAPH DISPLAY: six data parameters can be displayed, recorded,
and replayed with a line graph recording data up to 10 minutes (right
shot). |

F-CON DISPLAY: The HKS CAMP 2 integrates into with F-CON to allow the
CAMP 2 to display all parameters from the F-CON as well as change
between fuel and ignition maps (for example, between pump gas and race
gas) (left shot) as well as make changes direct to the fuel and ignition
tables (right shot). |

ALARM FUNCTION: The alarm function
can be set by the user to alert the user if any parameter exceeds any
parameter maximum or minimum level. |

There are several components to the HKS
CAMP 2.
 HKS CAMP 2: main display unit (requires a LCD display).
Includes IF remote for controlling CAMP 2.
Also
includes OBD2 interface cable for 1995-2005 NSX.
Interface unit: allows multiple sensors (below) to be displayed
through the HKS CAMP 2.
Optional sensors: fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temperature,
water temperature, boost pressure, EGT - includes harness set. These
analog sensors require the optional interface unit.
F-CON interface cable: allows the HKS CAMP 2 to plug into the
F-CON
(iS or VPRO) for display of any parameter from the F-CON (such as a
wideband O2 sensors AFR output).
THE CAMP2 does not include a display. The CAMP 2 requires an LCD screen with a RCA
video input for display. The
LCD screen can be a part of an in dash navigation systems or be displayed on a
stand alone LCD screen installed in a
navigation pod.
This product is not NSX specific. It can work in any model or year car.
