ScienceofSpeed Breather Kit for Comptech Supercharger
Owners of the Comptech Superchargers with
the updated Autorotor supercharger have complained about oil from the
supercharger's breather marking the hatch glass or coating engine
components with oily residue.
This breather kit is simple. Using aircraft quality push-fit fittings,
and special high temperature tubing, we relocate the breather filter
away from the engine bay to discharge any oil vapor to the ground.
Installation is simple and will keep your engine bay spotless. Please
note, this kit is only designed for the Autorotor supercharger (released
in 2006), not the earlier Whipple design. To be compatible with this
kit, your supercharger must look like the one shown
in this photo.
