ScienceofSpeed Performance
ECU is designed for the OBD1 (1991-94) NSX. The ECU modifies fuel and
timing tables to maximize engine performance available with supporting
air induction, exhaust manifold, and camshaft modifications. VTEC
engagement is modified and rev limiter is increased.
To be used in natural aspiration applications only. Free-flowing exhaust
headers and exhaust recommended.
In order to be installed, the ScienceofSpeed SuperTune ECU chip must
be soldered in place or installed via a socket.ScienceofSpeed offers this service.
ZIF Socketing: The ECU EPROM chip is
soldered on to the factory ECU circuit board. ScienceofSpeed removes the
factory EPROM and solders a new ZIF (zero insertion force) socket in
it's place allowing quick removal and
switches between factory and modified ECU EPROMs. A factory calibration
ECU chip is included in addition to the SuperTune ECU chip.
