natural aspiration & forced
induction camshaft set
ScienceofSpeed High Performance Camshaft Set
ScienceofSpeed High Performance Camshafts are available in designs for
either natural aspiration or forced induction applications. Lobe lift,
duration, and ramping geometry is optimized using precision grinding.
Our camshafts are not welded and use the hardened base lobe resulting in
a camshaft that is comparable to factory camshafts in longetivity.
These camshafts are modified on all three lobes retaining the factory
VTEC system and a smooth powerband.
Two varients are offered for either natural aspiration or forced
induction use. Camshafts are purpose built and should not be mixed
between applications.
Increased lift, duration, and modified
ramping with longer overlap profiles that maximize exhaust pressure
scavenging increasing efficiency of the engine.

Camshaft lobes are molycoated for reduced friction loss, break-in
period, and heat. For best performance, camshafts should be degreed by
an experienced technician with adjustable cam gears.
