The ScienceofSpeed Cylinder Head Tune maximizes cylinder head performance and refreshes used heads to beyond factory performance.

Cylinder head tune focuses on three areas:

Cylinder head runners: Cylinder head runners are reworked to maximize flow. Valve dividing walls are knife edged to fine precision.

Valves: Valve seats receive competition level 3 angle valve job. Intake valve seats are enlarged and new upsized valves are installed.

Combustion chamber: Combustion chamber bowls are reworked to increase the ability of the cylinder head to produce an efficient even and powerful combustion burn. Combustion chambers are bore matched when used with our 3.3L engine bottom end.

Cylinder heads are checked for deck trueness for proper sealing. Cylinder head tear-down and reassembly is not included. This service is available. Cylinder head gasket kit is available separately. New bore matched head gaskets are included with our custom bottom ends. Customer pays shipping charges. Price listed is for 3.0L cylinder heads. 3.2L cylinder head tune is available, please inquire.
