Convert your valve covers to the same
color of the red 3.2L valve covers used in 1997 & later NSXes. We
completely tear down the valve covers, strip the existing coating with a
chemical treatment, completely mask the surfaces and numerous threaded bolt holes that
should not be coated, then powdercoat the surface.
This approach insures the best finish
and durability. This also maintains the integrity of the threaded holes
and sealing surfaces of the fragile factory magnesium valve covers.
The most important
aspect is that we stock valve covers so that your car will have zero
down time.
The factory red color was specially matched wit a custom formulated
powdercoat. Other finishes are too orange or too bright to match te
factory color.
The factory red textured finish is standard. Custom smooth finish or
custom colors may take additional time, please inquire. An additional
fee may be required for custom colors. A core charge
will be added for the exchange of your undamaged factory covers. Our
covers are in excellent condition. We can not accept damaged covers with
stripped thread holes or damage of any other sort.
We recommend replacing the valve cover and spark plug seals when these
valve covers are installed. The gasket set is offered below.
