Walbro High Flow Fuel Pump

Walbro High Flow Fuel Pump assembly replaces the factory fuel pump with a pump capable of flowing 255 liters/hour (an increase of approximately 65% over the factory pump).

As the NSX ages, the factory fuel pump reaches and exceeds it's intended service life. Worn fuel pumps will no longer be able to supply the engine with adequate fuel pressure, potentially harming the engine. This is especially the case in aftermarket forced induction applications such as the Comptech NSX Supercharger kit which increases pump stress by increased pressure and voltage.

We include the high pressure model of fuel pump in our kits. This fuel pump works with both factory fuel pressures as well as applications with greater than factory fuel pressures (such as the Comptech NSX Supercharger kit which includes a rising rate fuel pressure regulator).

These kits are direct fit to replace the factory fuel pump. These fuel pumps have been effective in NSX applications producing in excess of 600 wheel horsepower. This kit is compatible with the factory pressure regulator, so it may be used on all factory cars with out modification.

The kit includes a fitting kit which includes a new filter sock and plug pigtail which wires into the factory electrical harness. The above photo shows the fuel pump installed into the factory in-tank fuel pump carriage assembly.
