 The Hondata Intake
Manifold Heatshield is an absolute must for every high performance S2000
application. The heatshield replaces the factory intake manifold gasket
with a high density plastic gasket that reduces thermal transfer from
the cylinder heads and cooling system.
As a result, intake manifold temperatures are greatly reduced. Lower
temperatures result in higher air density resulting in more power and
reduced chance of engine detonation. We recommend the insulator for
every forced induction application and highly recommend it for high
performance NA engines. |
