Upgrades for Comptech Novi
1000 Supercharger |
| |
Application: 2000-2005 Honda S2000
Unleash the potential of your Comptech
Supercharger Kit!
By upgrading key components of your Comptech Supercharger kit, you can
unleash 40-70 wheel horsepower.
This is a complete plug and play system. No other components required.
We offer two levels of upgrades:
Stage 1:
The stage 1 upgrade replaces the mechanical fuel management used on the
standard Comptech supercharger with a fully programmable engine
management system, new high flow injectors, and a smaller "high boost"
pulley. This system allows precise fuel control with the addition of
ignition control for proper engine management.
The average peak horsepower increase of this package is 30-40 hp.
This stage includes these components:
|
- AEM Engine Management System
(more info)
- RC Engineering 650cc injectors
(more info)
- RC Engineering "plug & play" plugs (no
cutting of harness)
- ScienceofSpeed "high boost" pulley (2.0L:
3.8", 2.2L: 3.6")
(more info)
- shorter drive belt
|
Stage 2:
This stage builds upon the stage 1 package by reducing the factory high
compression ratio of 11:1 down to 9.8:1 using a thicker head gasket.
Removal of the head is required for installation of the gasket. This
lower compression increases reliability and safety margin while allowing
increased charge pressure to improve performance.
The average peak horsepower increase of this package is 60-70hp.
This stage includes these components: |
- AEM Engine Management System
(more info)
- RC Engineering 650cc injectors
(more info)
- RC Engineering "plug & play" plugs (no
cutting of harness)
- ScienceofSpeed "high boost" pulley (2.0L:
3.4", 2.2L: 3.2")
(more info)
- shorter drive belt
- Cometic .074" head gasket

Professional AEM EMS tuning is required
for the installation of these systems. Note that manifold pressure is
dependent on several factory including ambient air density and charge
system efficiency. Please call with any questions. |

ScienceofSpeed highly recommends a wide
band oxygen sensor (UEGO) to increase performance and mileage. This
allows the ECU additional control to monitor air fuel ratios benefiting
in fine tuning based on air density (elevation, climate) and improves
fuel mileage. There are three upgrade options: |
- built in UEGO - UEGO is built into
ECU. Includes wide band sensor and built in controller. Provides the
most accurate and consistent performance.
- external UEGO controller. Includes
external controller and wide band sensor. Wires to ECU for monitoring.
- Gauge UEGO. Includes gauge to be
mounted in cabin with built in UEGO controller. Wires to ECU for
monitoring.
