Developed
by TAITEC as a aerodynamic solution for night time racing on their
Japanese NSX racecar, the TAITEC Fixed Headlight kit allows for a
simple replacement for the stock NSX headlight assembly. No
modification to bodywork is required. The TAITEC Fixed Headlight kit includes a carbon fiber bucket
shell, brackets, and lexan light shield.
The carbon fiber bucket
replaces the factory light housing and retractor motor. A lighting
system, such as the Raybrig HID kit (available as an option), bolts to the rear of the carbon
fiber bucket, and the lexan light shield attaches to the bucket. This
kit results in a 35+ lb weight savings over stock. Minor assembly
required. Due to the headlight bucket assembly being unsealed, we
recommend this kit for track use only. |

HID lighting powered by Raybrig (the same company that uses these
lighting products on their JGTC Raybrig Racing NSX in Japan). Offroad
use only, not legal for street use.
Kit requires fitting and installation of the lighting components by a
professional installer. Some assembly required. |

This kit is modeled after the fixed headlight kits installed on the
JGTC racing NSXes in Japan. The JGTC NSXes use the fixed headlights in
order to cut down aerodynamic drag at high speed.
The fixed headlights on the JGTC NSXes have ducts that feed fresh air
into the cabin below the lights. |

The JGTC Fixed Headlight kit is utilized on the TAITEC "Rapid Race"
NSX in Japan. These lights allow the team to save weight from the
bulky stock headlights and allow decreased aerodynamic profile at
speed.
