Engineering (makers of Volk Racing Wheels) offer the Duraluminum Lug
Nut. Manufactured from 6061 aluminum, individually machined, then hard
anodized, the lug nuts are 25-50% lighter than steel lug nuts reducing unsprung weight where it counts the most.
Engraved with Rays logo on the face of each nut.
The lug nuts are 35mm high and feature a 12x1.5 thread (all NSX /
S2000). The lug nuts are designed for any aftermarket wheel which
accepts a 19mm hex lug nut. Not for use with factory wheels.
The
set includes twenty lug nuts, of which four (one per wheel) are a
locking style. The locking nut is designed to look like the other
nuts however require the included key for removal.
Black, Gunmetal, Red, and Blue anodized finishes available.
Save 111 grams (.24 lb) or more compared
to a standard aftermarket lug nut. Saving "unsprung" mass, or weight on
the suspension, wheels, and tires, improves suspension feedback.
