2006-09 S2000
Now available in direct S2000 fitment, the GTC-200 adjustable spoiler is
mounted to the rear decklid using the rear factory spoiler mounting hole
and new front mounting holes. If your car does not have the factory
spoiler installed, included instructions guide you to proper placement.
The 3D aerofoil has been designed and validated with computational fluid
dynamics as
described here.
Each GTC Series airfoil is composed of lightweight and durable carbon
fiber composite. Supporting the carbon fiber airfoils are 10mm "aircraft
grade" 6061 billet aluminum pedestals that come in a flat black powder
coat finish. Adjustable linkage allows the attack angle to be set. The
S2000 application features S2000 specific mounting brackets with rubber
cushion mounts.
If you are looking for a raised spoiler, this spoiler looks best on a
street car. However, it also works the best in our experience for race
applications mounted higher out of the slipstream. For racing
applications, ScienceofSpeed offers high-mount pedestals that allows the
spoiler to be mounted to the rear bumper beam (please contact for
details).
