ScienceofSpeed Rapid Shift Knobs are the only shift knobs designed specifically for the Acura NSX.

The shift knobs feature a unique clip that allows the knob to click into the factory shift boot's retainer ring. This keeps the boot from sagging down exposing the unfinished shift stalk.

These shifts knobs shorten the position of the shift knob by approximately 20mm which is the same drop in height as designed into the NSX-R (performance version of the NSX sold in Japan). This results in a shorter quicker shift throw.

Shift knobs are machined on a high precision CNC lathe out of 6061-T6 billet aluminum. Knobs are hard anodized for a durable and attractive high luster satin finish.

Works great with the Honda NA2 NSX-R Mesh Shift Boot.

All shift knobs sit at the same height when secured to the shift lever.

Rapid NSX-R Shift Knob: Direct replica from the factory NA2 NSX-R shift knob. Adds a clip-in for the factory shift boot.

Rapid NSX-R (Long) Shift Knob: Maintains exact ball shape as the factory NA2 NSX-R shift knob with the addition of a 30mm long base that allows the shift boot to not be stretched out on US cars. Excellent design for drivers who tend to shift with hand on top of shift lever with pointer and middle finger gripping knob.

Rapid NSX Shift Knob: Original Rapid tear-drop shape. Tapered tear drop allows for excellent grip.
