ScienceofSpeed Bracket Kit for Single & Double DIN Stereos

Bring navigation and other modern stereo technology to your NSX interior! Due to the NSX's unique center console and proprietary stereo design fitting an aftermarket single or double DIN stereo has been difficult.

This adjustable bracket set allows installation of both single or double DIN stereo units into the NSX dash. The kit features PEM nuts and supplied fasteners that allow simple installation. The bracket set is made from laser cut stainless steel and computer bent for exact fitment. The bracket set is adjustable both in height and depth to accommodate different aftermarket stereos.

New for August 2008: Our new design incorporates several design improvements based on customer feedback including special tight radius bends to accommodate even the largest double DIN stereos and a slopped mounting angle to match the curvature of the NSX dash.

To install an aftermarket stereo, consider these parts:

Please note that we produce a stereo harness that allows aftermarket stereos to plug into the factory NSX wire harness with out modification here. Your center console will need to be modified to accept either a single or double DIN stereo cut out. Please note that most double DIN stereos will not allow the ash tray to open and close due to the height limitations of the NSX dash.
