Climate Control Unit Repair

 

Climate Control Unit Repair

 
A common problem with older NSXes is the climate control circuit board failing. Typical symptoms include the fan speed control not responding or the fan only blowing on the high setting. We replace the defective circuitry with new upgraded components and test and verify each function on a test bench that replicates the factory climate control system.

We offer the repair via two methods:
  • on exchange: we send you a repaired unit and you send your original back to us. Our exchange program allows for no down time of your car. A refundable core charge will be charged.
  • customer supplied: send in your unit and we will send it repaired back to you. We usually ship your unit back to you within 5-10 working days of receipt.
Each unit is tested by hand before shipping using a test bench including the NSX blower and vent assembly insuring that the climate control circuit board is working properly after repair.
 
The climate control unit consists of two main parts: the front display unit and the rear circuit board unit (shown below). When sending in your climate control unit for repair, please remove the front display unit and ship only the climate control unit as shown below.
