These seat
packages include a pair of rails, seats, and mounting hardware required
for installation into your NSX. Only combinations that work and have
been tested are listed, eliminating the confusion when selecting rails
and seats that fit properly into the NSX.
Which seat do we recommend? Picking a seat depends on your
intended use for the seat and your body shape. Bucket seats are
available in side mount and bottom mount configurations. Side mount
seats are performance oriented and offer the best headroom clearance.
Bottom mount seats do not offer increased headroom, and in general are
not designed for cabins like the NSX where the driver is placed in a
more reclined position. We do not recommend bottom mount seats for NSX
drivers over 5'10". In general, we prefer Recaro seats due to the
superior ergonomic design.
Which sliding rail do you
recommend? ScienceofSpeed offers side mount sliding rails while
TAITEC offers both side and bottom mount sliding rails. The
ScienceofSpeed sliding rails offer a better engineered design with easy
sliding rails, a durable finish, and the ability to accept both wide (ie.
Recaro Pole Position) and narrow seats (ie. Recaro SPG). |
