The Moton adjustable
suspension is a professional-grade fully-adjustable coil-over suspension. While the
suspension was designed and developed for professional race track use,
the unique piston diameter and fluid displacement characteristics allows optimal
handling and a smooth ride even on street or rough track surfaces. |

NSX
bolt-in application: Moton only manufactures the damper bodies and
external fluid reservoirs. ScienceofSpeed has produced a bolt-on system
that requires no modification to the car. The suspension has been designed around base
Moton adjustable dampers (double or triple separate compression/rebound
adjustment) with external fluid reservoirs. The kit has been designed for a bolt-in application
to the NSX with out modification to the factory suspension pickup
points and factory shock towers. The kit
includes custom billet pillow-ball upper mounts, billet drop-links, and
stacked springs that allow for factory style tubular
anti-sway bars to be retained (factory, or adjustable). Custom springs (main
and tender) are included based on the customer's preferences. |

highest performance suspension available: The key success of the
Moton suspension is an exceptionally large outer piston diameter of 22mm
and high capacity dampening fluid under high pressure charge. This allows
the suspension to react to very minute suspension compression motion
with a high amount of fluid displacement. The large amount of displaced
fluid under heavy pressure charge allows the suspension to react with
such a force that the high spring rates used in other suspensions are
not needed.
The tremendous volume and pressure
is achieved by high tolerances in the suspension design and construction
as well as high quality valves and seals that are proprietary to Moton
suspension design.
The Moton suspension uses a very light weight aluminum body and chromoly
piston construction resulting in minimal un-sprung weight.
Although the suspension is designed for professional race-team use, the
unique dampening ability of the suspension results in a very supple
ride. Due to the dampers ability to run relatively softer springs for
rebound, the ride is very smooth, which makes the suspension ideal for
rough track surfaces, or even street use. This results in excellent chassis balance and traction even on
rough street and track surfaces. The firmness of the ride is quite a bit
less stiff compared to other suspension products for the NSX. |

teams in SCCA World Challenge, Le Mans, and other spec-series as well by
manufacture teams of BMW, Audi, and Porsche.
The suspension (in triple-adjustable configuration) was one of the keys
to success for RealTime Racing when the team campaigned the number 42
NSX coupe in SCCA World Challenge. The team continues to utilize the
Moton suspension for the Acura RSX.

suspension to your needs. We offer spring rate ranges from 10-20 kg/mm
front and 8-16 kg/mm rear. We use the highest quality springs available. |

The suspension is available in double (separate compression/rebound
adjustment) or triple adjustable configurations (separate high speed &
low speed compression and rebound adjustment). The rebound and
compression adjusts in with approximately 15 positions on the double
adjustable and 14 high, 5 low, and 15 positions on the triple adjustable
damper. The reservoir canisters also allow adjustable pressure charge
for additional tuning capability. |
