The ScienceofSpeed Low Rise Decklid Spoiler Set is a more aggressive and sports-minded take on the factory optional spoiler.
Starting with a high precision 3D-scan of the factory decklid, a 3 piece design was modeled using advanced CAD and rendering tools. The design includes subtle body lines that are carried from the decklid into the spoiler. The shape was refined with a distinctive cut-back feature on the rear surface which adds character and rigidity to the design. Construction consists of 2x2 carbon fiber with vacuum infused epoxy resin for a high strength to weight ratio. The sections are CNC-trimmed using a special cutting feature to produce the tightest seams possible. The spoiler adheres to the decklid and quarter panels using very high bond adhesive tape, specifically designed for durable adhesion.
