Description

The ScienceofSpeed AEM Series 2 Engine Management System (EMS) for 1991-94 NSX is a programmable plug-and-play engine management system that allows total standalone control of fuel, ignition, VTEC, along with other engine functions.

Compared to the discontinued Series 1 EMS, the Series 2 EMS offers increased processor speed, enhanced sensors stability, USB connection, FlexFuel tuning, engine protection features, and other benefits.

Note: factory traction control is not supported. The AEM EMS has a limited engine acceleration traction control system (wheel speed sensors are not used) to calculate loss of traction.   • new: advanced engine protection features - allows the EMS to automatically limit the engine speed if coolant temperature, AFR, fuel pressure, oil pressure, or oil temperature limits are exceeded!
  • new: plug-and-play harness allows a number of accessories to be added including wideband oxygen, FlexFuel, fuel pressure, oil pressure, and oil temperature sensors.

Options

  • wideband oxygen sensor (required): Use one for single turbocharged applications or two for naturally aspirated, supercharged, or twin turbocharged applications.
  • MAP sensor: the factory MAP sensor is good for applications up to 10 PSI. For applications producing more boost pressure, consider a higher capacity MAP sensor.
  • electronic boost control solenoid: for turbocharged applications, the AEM EMS can control boost with a wastegate electronic boost control solenoid.
  • FlexFuel (E85) sensor: sensor allows for FlexFuel tuning.
  • additional sensors: additional sensors can be added for engine protection features or for viewing on telemetry products such as gaugeART.
  • telemetry products: the AEM EMS is compatible with gaugeART Video Gauge Adapters and Race Technology Dash2Pro race dashes.
