The KTuner Flash & Touch allow advanced tuning and datalogging for the 2006-09 Honda S2000 factory ECU. The KTuner application allows fuel, ignition, VTEC, fuel & ignition trims, and other ECU programming functions available on engine management systems. In addition to these standard features - the KTuner Flash and Touch are capable of boost control (with out requiring ECU modification) and FlexFuel tuning - exclusively available from ScienceofSpeed.
The KTuner Flash is a simple port-flash tool that allows programming and datalogging while connected to a laptop. The KTuner application allows programming of fuel, ignition, VTEC, fuel & ignition trims, boost control, and FlexFuel tuning.
Like the KTuner Flash - the Touch allows the same ECU programming with the included KTuner application. However, the innovative full-color touchscreen display, mounted in a sturdy machined aluminum enclosure, also allows standalone datalogging (for review using the included PC application), map switching, and functions as a real-time gauge display with programmable shift lights. The KTuner Touch attaches to the OBD port to view live engine parameters, and only needs to be connected when the ECU is flashed. KTuner FlexFuel Tuning:
The KTuner Flash and Touch are capable of FlexFuel tuning with the optional FlexFuel converter and a FlexFuel sensor. Based on FlexFuel content, the ECU automatically adjusts fuel injection based on pre-set stoichiometry. This is the same strategy used by factory FlexFuel ECUs. In addition, configurable ignition and boost trims based on ethanol content are available to raise ignition and boost targets based on FlexFuel content. Fuel injection trims are also available based on ethanol content which provides a strategy for providing additional injector pulse width if injection pressure drops from elevated manifold pressures in turbocharged applications. A compatible fuel system is required. Click here for more info. The FlexFuel converter requires wiring into a +12V ignition source, chassis ground, the flex sensor signal, and into the factory ecu. We recommend using the Fuse Block Connector for the +12V ignition source.
