ScienceofSpeed AEM Infinity 506 Engine Management System - S2000, 2006-09

The ScienceofSpeed AEM Infinity Engine Management System for the 2006-09 Honda S2000 race cars is a programmable plug-and-play engine management system that allows total standalone control of fuel, ignition, VTEC, factory electronic throttle body, along with other engine functions based on the advanced AEM Infinity ECU. The AEM Infinity is an ideal upgrade from the Hondata FlashPro for the 2006-09 S2000 for applications requiring FlexFuel tuning and advanced engine control.

The AEM Infinity ECU features a latest generation 32 bit 200 MHz processor, capable of processing eight or more times faster than comparable engine management systems. This processing power allows for a volumetric efficiency tuning platform with real time closed loop fuel calculations allowing for increased fuel and ignition control, allowing engines to produce more power.

The ScienceofSpeed AEM Infinity System for S2000 is a complete plug-and-play system. The plug-and-play mounting panel and electrical harness was designed, tested, and is built in house by ScienceofSpeed. The compact assembly mounts to the factory ECU mounting location making installation simple and easy.

Truly Plug-and-Play:

ScienceofSpeed has sourced every connector for the factory engine harness, throttle body, and power supply - this means the system is truly plug-and-play. An accessory connector in the engine bay and interior allows adding sensors and accessories (fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temperature, FlexFuel, CAN displays, etc).

Truly Stand-alone:

The ScienceofSpeed AEM Infinity System is the only truly stand-alone engine management system for the 2006-09 S2000 - completely eliminating the factory ECU. Since the 2006-09 S2000 uses the factory ECU to drive the dash through CAN and serial messages, ScienceofSpeed has developed an optional electronic translator that converts the AEM Infinity protocol to the Honda protocol.

• wideband sensor: the AEM Infinity features one on-board wideband controller. LSU 4.2 wideband sensor is required (sold separately above).
• CAN Translator for factory dash: the factory 2006-09 S2000 factory dash uses CAN and serial messages from the factory ECU. An optional CAN Translator receives CAN telemetry from the AEM Infinity and outputs it into the Honda format. With out the CAN Translator, the factory coolant gauge does not work and the CEL lamp stays on. Note: if replacing the factory dash with a race dash, this is not required. Sold separately above.
• traction control: the ScienceofSpeed Wheel Speed Sensor Pulse Converter allows the AEM Infinity to work with the factory wheel speed sensor to allow the sophisticated built-in AEM Infinity traction control system to be used. The factory "VSA" switch and indicator lamps (to see when traction control is turned on or off, and when wheel slip isoccuring) is supported. Sold separately above. More info.
• fuel pressure sensor: highly recommended. Closed loop fuel calculations can be precisely calculated by the AEM Infinity with less reliance on wideband sensors with fuel pressure sensor input. Optional sensors sold here & installation kit sold here.

• MAP sensor: the AEM Infinity is compatible with the factory MAP sensor, which has a range up to 10 PSI. For higher boost applications, a higher capacity MAP sensor is required. ScienceofSpeed offers this 4 BAR plug-and-play MAP sensor.
• oil pressure & oil temperature sensors: can be added for additional engine safety functions. Pressure and temperature sensors sold separately.
• electronic boost control solenoid: for turbocharged applications, the AEM Infinity can control boost with a wastegate electronic boost control solenoid. Sold separately here.
• FlexFuel (E85) sensor: sensor allows for FlexFuel tuning. Sold separately here.
• telemetry products: the AEM Infinity is compatible with AEM CD-5 & CD-7 Race Dash, and Race Technology Dash2Pro race dashes.
