ScienceofSpeed Locking Timing Belt Tensioner replaces factory spring tensioner. The factory spring tensioner can cause the timing belt to become loose if the bolt securing the tensioner loosens. Rigid linkage keeps tension on tensioner even if the tensioner bolt loosens. Highly recommended for performance engines.
