The ScienceofSpeed Instrument Cluster Panel AEM CD Race Dashes is designed to replace the factory instrument cluster with the AEM CD5 (5") or CD7 (7") race dash, sold separately here.
The kit includes an aluminum panel (black texture powdercoated) and 3D-printed carbon fiber-infused black ABS brackets which allow the panel to mount to factory mounting locations. The dash connects to either aftermarket or factory ECUs to display engine parameters as well as functions on the factory instrument cluster (such as fuel level, turn indicators, high beam indicator, etc). The CAN analog expansion module is required (see function list below).
When purchased with an AEM CD dash and analog expansion module, ScienceofSpeed includes a complete pin-out to connect to the factory harness, as well as a dash design with all factory signals, reverse-engineered.

Options
- Requires AEM CD5 or CD7 race dash sold here (flat or hooded housings are acceptable).
- Requires AEM CAN analog expansion module sold here to display fuel level & factory indicator lamps. The following inputs are supported based on which ECU is used and which analog converter is selected.
- Aftermarket ECU (built-in engine speed, vehicle speed, engine coolant temperature sensor, oil pressure, and with optional sensors - oil temperature, fuel pressure, etc).
- 6 channel: fuel level
- 22 channel: fuel level, high beam indicator, left & right turn signal indicator, left & right door ajar indicator, hatch ajar indicator, trunk ajar indicator, TCS indicator, ABS indicator, brake indicator.
- Factory ECU:
- 6 channel: fuel level, engine speed, engine coolant temperature sensor (1991-99 NSX), optional oil temperature, any two 0-5v signals (optional oil pressure sensor, engine coolant temperature sensor (2000-05 NSX). Vehicle speed requires GPS-enabled dash.
- 22 channel: fuel level, engine speed, vehicle speed, high beam indicator, left & right turn signal indicator, left & right door ajar indicator, hatch ajar indicator, trunk ajar indicator, TCS indicator, ABS indicator, brake indicator, oil pressure (compatible with factory sensor), oil temperature (requires sensor).
