ScienceofSpeed Custom ARP Main Stud Kit - NSX, 1991-05

ARP is the foremost authority on high performance automotive fastener components. ScienceofSpeed offers a custom-made main stud kit for the NSX which replaces the bottom largest factory bolt which takes the largest amount of thrust load.

ARP's exclusive defect-free chromoly steel alloy material is used which reduces stretch under load for high horsepower and high RPM operation. Torque consistency is improved and stretching is reduced improving head gasket seal & crankshaft seating.

Main stud kit replaces eight factory main bolts (the remaining fasteners are retained) and includes a set of eight studs, washers, and 12-pt flange nuts. ScienceofSpeed includes packet of ARP moly lube for installation with kit.

Important note: main stud kit requires main bores to be line honed to factory specification, and bearing selection for proper oil clearance to be performed.
