ScienceofSpeed Factory-Style 3 BAR MAP Pressure Sensor - NSX, 1991-05 & S2000, 2000-05

The standard Honda 1.7 BAR MAP sensor is capable of reading up to .7 BAR (10 PSI) of positive manifold pressure (1 BAR for vacuum, .7 BAR for positive pressure). Any engines requiring above 10 PSI of positive manifold pressure must upgrade the MAP sensor. The ScienceofSpeed MAP sensor is a direct replacement for the factory MAP sensor. The 3 BAR MAP sensor allows up to 29 PSI of positive manifold pressure.

The sensor allows plug-and-play installation and does not require cutting of any wires.

The lab-grade pressure transducer provides a reliable linear voltage response. This sensor allows good resolution for vacuum conditions allowing good idle & drivability.

This sensor requires a stand-alone engine management system. It is not compatible with the factory ECU.

The sensor is supplied with a new o-ring for installation (S2000). The housing is black.
