The factory plastic trunk trim panel fasteners are prone to loosening and falling off. The ScienceofSpeed Billet Trunk Trim Panel Retainer Kit replaces these fasteners with easy-to-install retainers that thread onto the trunk studs by hand.
Using an Allen or Torx socket and tool may result in breaking the fragile stud off which is why ScienceofSpeed designed the retainers with an easy-to-grip knurled outer diameter that allows installation without tools. ScienceofSpeed has specifically designed the depth of the thread to put just enough pre-load on the trim panel. Once they bottom out, you know you've properly secured the panel.
Billet 6061 aluminum, textured black anodized finish. Kit includes a complete set of 8, ready for installation.
