The ScienceofSpeed Sport+ Valve-Delete Exhaust maximizes performance from the Second Generation NSX.
The exhaust features two 2.5" exhaust tubes which increase diameter from the factory and when used with the ScienceofSpeed Sport Downpipes, eliminates the 2.1" bottleneck in the factory exhaust track. This size is optimized for exhaust pulse velocity.
The ScienceofSpeed Sport+ Valve-Delete Exhaust removes the factory electronic exhaust valves. Removing the valves reduces weight and increases flow from the exhaust system. ScienceofSpeed includes weather-tight electronic valve simulators which are plug and play for the factory electrical harness connector to prevent system faults caused when the valves are removed.
Note: to change the exhaust sound from the Second Generation NSX, the downpipes create the largest difference in sound output. ScienceofSpeed recommends using this product with the ScienceofSpeed Sport Downpipe Set. There will be a minimal sound difference if only this exhaust is used.
The ScienceofSpeed Sport & Sport+ exhausts are the only ones on the market to retain the factory heat shields. This important feature reduces heat transfer to the transmission, transmission sensors, trunk box, and factory bumper covers. It is not recommended to install an exhaust product on the NSX that eliminates the heat shields.
The ScienceofSpeed Sport+ Valve Delete Exhaust system is manufactured from 100% T304 stainless steel and includes die-formed stainless steel brackets and exhaust hangers. The brackets allow the important factory heat shields to be retained, and the hangers attach to factory hanger locations.
