An open element air intake temperature (AIT) sensor is recommended for forced induction vehicles where inlet temperature will vary and be much more dynamic than what the factory closed element sensor is designed for.
This sensor requires standalone engine management system (this is not compatible with factory ECU).
Available in two thread sizes:
- AEM-30-2014: 1/8" NPT (with Deutsch DTM motorsports connector)
- AEM-30-2010: 3/8" NPT
A crimp tool like this is required for terminal-to-wire installation. A wire harness kit is available here.
