Mounting of fuel pressure sensors directly on the engine can cause vibration transmission to produce noisy sensor output and decrease the life of the sensor.
The ScienceofSpeed Fuel Pressure Installation Kit remote mounts the sensor off the engine to the firewall using a teflon / braided stainless hose and .020" restrictor fitting that reduces injector pulsation effects on the sensor.
When ordering, order for the year of your chassis (2006-09 with return fuel system conversions should still select 2006-09).
2000-05: 1/8" NPT tapped hole required. Factory fuel rail can be drilled and tapped, or an aftermarket fuel rail may be used.
2006-09: 1/8" NPT tapped hole required. Weld a boss to the factory stamped sheet metal fuel rail, or use an aftermarket fuel rail or factory fuel rail as part of the 2006-09 return conversion kit.
