The ScienceofSpeed RR-MAX Front Mount Air-Air Intercooler Kit is the same intercooler kit from the ScienceofSpeed RR-MAX Turbocharger System. It offers easy mounting using factory locations, with a compact yet efficient air-air intercooler, cold charge tubes, couplers, and all required hardware.
The intercooler may be used with a turbocharger system other than RR-MAX or a supercharger systems. The hot-side tubes must be made for whichever turbocharger or supercharger system is used (since placement will differ by brand).
Includes
- Bar and plate aluminum intercooler (rated for 575 BHP, however it has been successfully used up to 700 BHP, core: 24" x 9.25" x 3.25").
- Stainless steel mounting brackets & hardware.
- Cold side aluminum top & bottom charge tubes.
- Silicone couplers (intercooler outlet, charge tubes, and throttle body).
- Set of stainless steel smooth hose clamps designed for silicone.
- Air inlet temperature boss:
- 2000-05: 1/8" NPT air temperature sensor boss (compatible with AEM-30-2014).
- 2006-09: factory 2006-09 billet machined boss & 1/8" NPT air temperature sensor boss (compatible with factory or AEM-30-2014).
Options
- Blow off valve: choose from these options:
- No flange or blow off valve: the tube will be bare aluminum ready for welding a blow off valve flange.
- TiAL 50mm flange: the tube will have a welded 50mm TiAL blow off valve flange. Tubes will be powdercoated texture black.
- TiAL 50mm flange & blow off valve: the tube will have a welded 50mm TiAL blow off valve flange. A TiAL 50mm Q Blow Off Valve in black anodize with 11 PSI spring is included. Tubes will be powdercoated texture black.
