The ScienceofSpeed V-Mount Twin Pass Radiator & Intercooler is the ultimate cooling system package for the turbocharged S2000 built for the track.
The system incorporates a highly efficient twin-pass radiator with a bar and plate intercooler. By splitting the radiator and intercooler (instead of stacking the intercooler in front of the radiator), air volume passing through both the intercooler and radiator is drastically improved. The system has been successfully used in sprint races lasting thirty minutes with ambient temperatures above 95 °F where coolant temperature remained below 200 °F and inlet temperature under 130 °F (at 14 PSI).
One of the most distinctive features of the ScienceofSpeed V-Mount system is the factory-quality fit and finish. The system attaches to factory mounting locations and requires only the removal of the factory radiator support brace (which can be replaced at any time by riveting back in place). Aside from the twin pass radiator and intercooler, the system includes a coolant system fill / expansion tank, twin SPAL high flow fans, charge tubes (see notes under options), and all radiator hoses, couplers, clamps, and hardware required for installation.

- ScienceofSpeed RR-Max Twin Scroll Turbocharger System
- Universal: other "side mount" turbocharger & supercharger forced induction systems may be compatible. Please confirm fitment before purchasing. A fitment template is provided. Kits for ScienceofSpeed RR-MAX turbocharger systems include a "hot side" tube (the tube that joins the turbocharger and intercooler). Because the hot side will vary based on the system used, for universal kits, the hot side tube is not included and fabrication of the tube is the responsibility of customer.
- While a ventilated hood is not required, it is highly recommended to improve the intercooler's performance.
- 2000-05: factory cruise control motor must be deleted or relocated.

- Twin pass aluminum radiator (core: 24" x 15.5" x 1.5").
- Bar and plate aluminum intercooler (recommended for up to 575 BHP, core: 24" x 9.25" x 3.25").
- Twin high flow Spal fan (1,688 CFM total) w/ electrical system - designed to be staged - one or two fans can be turned on by ECU based on coolant temperature and if A/C system is turned on.
- Hot side aluminum charge tube (turbocharger to intercooler) for kits used with ScienceofSpeed TS-MAX Turbocharger System.
- Cold side aluminum charge tube (intercooler to throttle body).
- Coolant system expansion / fill tank w/ pressure cap.

Options
- Kit Type:
- upgrade new RR-MAX Turbocharger System: upgrades the standard front mount intercooler from the RR-MAX Turbocharger System. Must be purchased at the same time as the RR-MAX Turbocharger System. The discounted price is made possible by replacing components that would normally be included in a standard system.
- existing RR-MAX Turbocharger System: this package is for customers who already own the RR-MAX System.
- universal: this package is for customers with forced induction systems other than RR-MAX Turbocharger Systems. It is up to the customer to verify compatibility with the v-mount intercooler. This package does not include a hot charge tube (as it is specific to the forced induction system being used).
- Inlet temperature sensor: chose from the standard 3/8" boss for compatible open-element air temperature sensors (sold separately) or a boss for the factory 2006-09 sensor.
- Blow-off valve flange: a TIAL 50mm flange is included for kits used with the ScienceofSpeed RR-MAX Turbocharger System. For universal kits, three options are available:
- no blow-off valve flange & raw cold charge tube: customer responsible for welding flange & powdercoating tube.
- purchase a TIAL 50mm blow-off valve (which includes a flange) and ScienceofSpeed will weld the flange and powdercoat the tube.
- purchase a TIAL 50mm blow-off valve flange separately and ScienceofSpeed will weld the flange and powdercoat the tube.
- Air Conditioning Relocation Kit for V-Mount: The kit allows the A/C condenser to be used with the V-mount radiator. The kit relocates factory A/C condenser, dryer and accessories and includes machined billet aluminum fittings, A/C high-pressure hose, brackets, hardware, all new o-rings for relocated components, and refrigerant oil.
