ScienceofSpeed Sliding Seat Rail Mounts offer a lightweight adjustable mounting solution for installing aftermarket bucket style seats in to the NSX.
An adjustable design accommodates side mounting seats with different side mounting lengths including NSX-R (235mm) and aftermarket (290mm) seats including Recaro, Sparco, MOMO, and OMP. Adjustable width design accommodates seats 400-430mm wide including NSX-R, Recaro Pole Position, SPG XL, Pro Racer, Sparco EVO, EVO2, etc.
The sliding seat rails feature features exclusive to the ScienceofSpeed Sliding Seat Mounts including seat belt mounting tabs designed for factory seat belt buckles to be used with seats designed for factory seat belt, including NSX-R. ScienceofSpeed Sliding Seat Mounts also feature unique CNC machined steel T quick-nuts which allow the seats to be fastened without a separate socket wrench significantly reducing installation time.
Two versions of seat rails are made available to fit different seats and different driver heights. See options below for details.
Note that you will need to order a set of the NSX-R seat washers for each NSX-R seat you intend to install.

Two versions of seat rails are made available to fit different seats and different driver heights.
- standard designed for:
- narrow seats: NSX-R seat and other narrower aftermarket seats approximately 400-410mm wide with mounting hole centers 280-290mm. NSX-R seats, and similar narrow seats can be mounted all the way to the floor.
- wider seats: seats that are wider than 410mm (like Recaro Pole Position and Pole Position ABE) can not be mounted all the way to the floorboard with the standard seat rail. The standard seat rails are ideal for a driver with a height of less than 5'10" when used with wider seats.
- low version designed for:
- not designed for NSX-R seats.
- tall drivers: this seat rail positions the seat rearwards by about 5", allowing wider seats like the Recaro Pole Position to be mounted all the way rearwards and to the floorboard. Foward travel is reduced by 5" compared to the standard seat rail. The low version seat rail is ideal for drivers 5'10" or taller. This seat rail is compatible with most seats that are 400-430mm wide with 280-290mm mounting centers.
Low version side brackets, available for customers who previously purchased ipp-2011-L or ipp-2011-R are available separately.
