Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Unit Repair - NSX, 1991-05

The original SRS Unit was built using the same problematic components as the climate control unit, radio and amplifiers.  These components will leak, causing corrosion.  This corrosion will eventually cause some issues with the SRS unit.  The SRS light coming on is the first sign that damage has already occurred, and repair is now past due.  We recommend repairing the SRS unit before the damage occurs.  Repair includes replacing the known-bad components with higher-quality ones that won't have the same issue and, if possible, repairing any other damage caused by these previously bad components. 

Symptoms:

• SRS Light On
• SRS fuse is blown
