The ScienceofSpeed Link Engine Management System is a full-featured programmable engine control solution (ECU) for your 2006-09 S2000 race car. This solution completely replaces the factory ECU with a plug-and-play programmable ECU based on the Link ECU G4X that mounts to the factory mounting position and plugs into the factory connectors.
The system features full programmable engine control (fuel, ignition, VTEC, and other features) making it ideal for supercharged, turbocharged, or high-performance naturally aspirated engine control. In addition, a built-in wideband controller, compatibility with the factory throttle body, and optional factory dash support makes this the ultimate engine control solution for your 2006-09 Honda S2000.

This product is not designed or intended for pollution controlled vehicles. In the United States, the use of this product is regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency under the Clean Air Act. Use of this product must be used in accordance with the Clean Air Act, and any other Federal, State, or Local mandated regulations. The use of this product must only be used on a vehicle in sanctioned competition events and may not be used on public roads, streets, or highways. A Vehicle Compliance Waiver is required for all products marked "Racing Competition Only". This product replaces the factory ECU, so the factory OBD system is not longer functional.

- Engine protection: engine protection solutions based on engine coolant, oil temperature, oil pressure, AFR, etc.
- Traction control: configurable Link ECU traction control system that is compatible with the factory traction control switch, status lamp, and traction loss lamp. Requires traction control option.
- Cruise control: configurable Link ECU cruise control system that is compatible with the factory cruise control Main, Set, and Resume switches (supports cruise main lamp, does not support activation lamp). Requires cruise control option.

- Factory timing, MAP, ECT, and AIT sensors. Aftermarket MAP and AIT sensors are available and compatible.
- Factory drive-by-wire throttle body (and compatible aftermarket throttle bodies).

- Power steering load detection (increases idle speed when power steering input is detected).

- Air conditioning.
- Dash (with optional purchase).
- Cruise control (optional; uses Link's configurable cruise control system).
- Traction control (optional; uses Link's configurable traction control system).
- VSA is not supported.

Options
- version: four options are available that optionally support cruise control and traction control.
- Traction control: options that support traction control include a module that converts the factory wheel speed sensor into a signal the Link ECU can use. Compatible with factory traction control switch, status lamp, and traction loss lamp.
- Cruise control: options that support cruise control support the factory cruise main, set, resume switches. Cruise main LED is supported (indicating that cruise is ready to activate) however, the cruise active lamp is not currently supported. This option adds clutch & pedal position sensors. In addition to cruise control, it also supports optional 2-step and auto-blip functions.
- Traction & cruise control: includes an expansion module that allows all inputs and outputs required to support both functions to be supported by the ECU. Also supports fuel level for race dashes and an additional 0-5V input and additional temperature input for more advanced motorsports applications.
- wideband oxygen sensor: the ECU includes a built-in wideband (lambda) controller. In addition, the kit includes a plug-and-play wideband sensor wire harness. An LSU 4.9 wideband sensor is required. Choose this in the drop-down above.
- fuel pressure sensor: highly recommended. Closed-loop fuel calculations can be precisely calculated by the Link ECU with less reliance on wideband sensors with fuel pressure sensor input. Choose this in the drop-down above.
- factory dash translator module: an optional module translates the CAN output from the Link ECU into a signal that is compatible with the factory dash. This preserves the factory dash functions like the coolant gauge and check engine lamp. This module is not required if a race dash will be used.
